This native to Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu, Japan, has been selected by the Japanese in a number of variegated forms. We are pleased to offer the selection B. 'Nichirin', which makes a 2' tall x 2' wide clump of fuzzy green leaves, each irregularly bordered with a wide white band. B. 'Nichirin', which means "sun corona" in Japanese, makes an attractive foliage plant in the garden, adorned with axillary catkins in late summer. Relax and enjoy your "sun corona"...lime not included.
