Hosta 'Swamp Thing' (T. Avent 05)

This PDN introduction is a 1993 H. yingeri hybrid that forms a 18" tall x 4' wide vigorous clump of very shiny green leaves, surrounded by a wide, golden-yellow border. In mid-June, the clumps are topped with scapes of attractive purple, spider-like flowers. H. 'Swamp Thing' has been a real attention getter in our trial bed. This plant has not been tissue-cultured.
