Web-Only!
This unique gaillardia is another Federally Endangered US native found only in open sunny areas of the East TX pineywoods in Hardin County. It makes a wonderful and easy-to-grow garden plant, forming 2' tall x 3'+ wide clumps which are topped from summer through fall with unique, light pink, pinwheel-type flowers. Endangered plant laws make the propagation and sale of rare plants difficult, so we can't ship this one. Drop by one of our open houses and pick one up. Thanks to the late JC Raulston for sharing cuttings. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
