Web-Only! Hosta 'Xanadu' is the latest example where a sequel is much better than the original. This mutation (probably a tetraploid) of the small Hosta 'Island Charm' is composed of pointed green leaves highlighted by a dramatic white center. The vigor is dramatically improved, thanks to a wider green border, and we have had no leaf scorch in our trials. The 20" wide clumps are topped in midsummer with 18" spikes of lavender flowers. This has quickly become one of our favorite hostas. Pot size: 2 qt. (1.892 L)
