You've gotta love those darn taxonomists...Scilla scilloides translates into the scilla that looks like a scilla...no s__t. Hailing from China, Korea, and Japan, this winter-dormant scilla emerges in spring looking like a 4" tall, glossy-leaf clump of grass. In July and August, the 15" tall flower spikes arise, giving it the appearance of an airy, pinky mauve liatris. S. scilloides does seed around a bit when happy, so there's always some to share. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
