Web-Only!
This new collection of the easy-to-grow woodland Salvia nipponica comes from Bleddyn and Sue Wynn-Jones of Crug Farm, who found this growing in a shady clearing in a forested region near Kyushu, Japan. The hairy green leaves form a 8" tall x 2' wide clump. Starting for us in late summer and continuing into early fall, the clumps are topped with 4-6" spikes of creamy-yellow flowers...one of the few colorful moments in the fall woodland garden. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
