Web-Only! (syn: Deparia acrostichoides) This southeastern US native makes a wonderfully easy-to-grow, 2' tall specimen with fronds that can reach 4' in length. When grown in moist conditions and rich soils, the slowly spreading rhizome will form a large patch, to 3' wide, in 5 years. The common name of silver glade fern comes from the color of the leaf underside, arising from the developing spores. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
