Asarum kumageanum Green Leaf Form (Japanese Wild Ginger)
Light Shade to ShadeZone: 6-9, at least 6" tall Origin: Japan
Open House/Web-Only!
We have selected these A. kumageanums for their incredibly glossy black-green foliage, looking as though they had just been through a car wash and wax. The 4" long pointed evergreen leaves make a quick growing 1' wide clumping specimen in a rich woodland setting. For those who thrive on insignificant facts, "kumageanum" means "bear's hair" in Japanese...something to do with the location where it was originally found...why ask why? Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
