Rohdea japonica 'Herbie' (Sacred Lily)

We obtained this fabulous rohdea from CA, where it was grown in a private Japanese garden for many years. In appearance it is patterned like R. japonica 'Miyako No Jo', with dark green leaves bordered by nice white edges. Instead of being upright like the R. 'Miyako No Jo', this selection makes a much shorter and wider clump. It is also one of the fastest-multiplying rohdeas that we have grown. Just like other rohdea, the clumps are adorned with short stalks of bright red berries in the winter. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
