This endangered native is one of my favorite members of the mallow family. This very rare but easy-to-grow mallow is native to the Neches River basin in TX, where it is facing extinction due to habitat loss and sexual misconduct with H. militaris. The narrow, 3-lobed, duck foot-like leaves are almost threadlike. In midsummer, the upper part of the plant is clothed with 4" white flowers with a deep reddish-purple center blotch...very easy in moist or dry sites. Our plants are cutting-grown. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
