This is one of the truly unique selections in the history of hosta breeding. Herb Benedict's hybrid (H. 'Holly's Honey' x self) has green H. ventricosa-like leaves that fold up like a boat sail near the tip with a twist near the end. Herb named the plant for this leaf characteristic which reminded him of a groom on his wedding night...I'm not making this up! These bizarre leaves adorn the 15" diameter clump. The large (H. ventricosa-like), sterile purple flowers appear in midsummer. Pot size: 2 qt. (1.892 L)
