From the Chipola river in the Florida Panhandle comes one of the more fascinating members of the coreopsis family. Amazingly, it is surprisingly hardy, surviving for years in brutal Zone 5 winters. The short stems, clothed with heart-shaped, plastic-like leaves, rise from a slow-growing rhizome. In September and October, the 12" stems are topped with brilliant, stunning yellow daisies. Although it grows well in good garden soils, this brackish bog native prefers a low, moist area where nothing else will thrive. C. integrifolia is a great addition to the fall garden...visitors love to drool over this one! Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
