Web-Only! This is the finest of all baptisias for the rock garden. Each small, 18" tall x 18" wide clump is adorned with clasping silvery eucalyptus-like hairy leaves. B. arachnifera is a compact grower for a special spot in the rock garden and is topped with small yellow flowers in the leaf axils in late summer...after all other baptisias have finished. Unbelievable! It is also late to emerge, so don't get worried when it's not the first thing out of the ground. This federally endangered coastal native of GA cannot be shipped outside of NC.
