Orostachys aggregata (Orostachys)

SunZone: 5-8, at least 4" tall Origin: Japan

Web-Only! (syn: Sedum aggregeatum) Native to seaside rocky areas around Honshu, Japan, this easy-to-grow, rosetted succulent forms low clumps of fleshy-green, rubbery foliage. The main rosettes offset well via short 1"-2" white stolons. In fall, the clumps are topped with bizarre little flower heads that resemble erupting volcanos. Orostachys are easy-to-grow gems for the well-drained rock garden...expect a 1' wide mass in 2-3 years. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
