Cyperus albostriatus 'Nanus' (Dwarf Umbrella Plant)

Sun to Light ShadeZone: 7b-10 12" tall Origin: S. Africa

Web-Only! We have grown this for over 20 years, so it's time to share it again. As one of the most asked-about plants in our garden, the dwarf umbrella plant makes a thick, slowly spreading, deciduous groundcover (5' in 10 years) for a woodland setting. Dwarf umbrella plant is equally at home in dry ground, in a bog, around a water garden, or IN a water garden. Resembling miniature palm trees, dwarf cyperus makes basal rosettes of 1/2" wide green leaves, topped by little, 6-10" tall "palm trees"...what a charmer! Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
