Zephyranthes citrina (Rain Lily)

SunZone: 7-10 10" tall Origin: Central America

Web-Only! (aka: Z. sulphurea) This native to the Yucatan Peninsula is another of the commonly seen rain lilies in Deep South gardens, especially around TX. This tough rain lily tolerates truly crappy soils, floods, droughts, and just about anything nature can throw its way. The very narrow, grass-like foliage is topped with 8-10" tall stems of small, bright yellow, goblet-shaped flowers from midsummer, although best flowering for us occurs from the late summer months to early fall. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
