(aka: Arisaema amurense USNA 54698) Arisaema ovale is the Japanese equivalent of the Chinese Arisaema amurense. The stalk usually bears only one leaf with 5-7 leaflets, which unlike Arisaema amurense, doesn't have serrated edges. The pitcher, which tops the stalk in April resembles Arisaema triphyllum and the pitcher color can range from green and white striped to purple and white striped. When happy in a well-drained soil, Arisaema ovale usually offsets well.
